Nyhus Concrete Specialties has been imprinting concrete since the late 1960s. Before any tool was ever available to imprint with, Nyhus Concrete was pioneering this art by using a simple item such as a coffee can or a soup can. The cans were used to make circular patterns on the concretes surface. This method was used by us to change the look of ordinary concrete. A sample of this technique can still be seen to this day at a local business in Downtown Chippewa Falls. This technique was very unique and the first imprinted concrete known to us.
